Committed

The part of a period already determined by an obligation that exists — a signed contract's revenue schedule, a paid prepaid's amortisation, an asset's depreciation, a lease's monthly expense. Ledgerbook records those positions as future-effective entries bound to the obligation behind them and reports them as the committed band of every forward read. Committed is a band of effective time, never a lifecycle status — the word committed is a deprecated alias for a Status value and must not be used as one.
